Our competence in applied science and technology is at the heart of our business. We have particular expertise in sensors, actuators, optical systems, materials and mathematical modelling especially as they are applied in the medical, industrial and FMCG sectors.

The role includes project management and project operation. The successful candidate will be expected to stimulate initiatives in the medical sector identifying opportunities for consulting and possibly IP for exploitation by Sagentia.

Accountabilities:

• reporting to the Business Unit Managers in Science and Technology
• providing expertise in the area of medical science human physiology and related subjects to the project managers within Sagentia
• leading or working with teams of scientists and technologists on varied and challenging medical related projects

Person Specification:

• the successful candidate will have a n excellent academic track record, with at least a 2.1 in a related discipline (a Masters or PhD would be advantageous)
• the individual will have strong previous experience of working in a medical sector industry
• self motivated, enthusiastic
